If you want to stream live sports, highlights, and ESPN+ content on your Apple TV, you can quickly connect your device through ESPN.com/activate. The activation process links your Apple TV to your ESPN account or TV provider subscription, giving you access to your favorite sports content in just a few minutes.
Install ESPN App
You need the ESPN app on your Apple TV to begin activation.
On Apple TV: App Store → Search → ESPN → Download

Open the App Store on your Apple TV

Search for ESPN

Select the app and choose Download
-
Wait for installation to complete
Open ESPN and Get Code
The app generates a unique activation code for your device.
On Apple TV: ESPN App → Settings → TV Provider Login

Launch the ESPN app

Navigate to Settings

Select TV Provider Login

Note the activation code displayed on your TV
Go to espn.com/activate
Enter the activation code on a separate device to link your account.
On phone/computer: Browser → espn.com/activate

Open a browser on your phone, tablet, or computer

Visit espn.com/activate

Enter the activation code from your Apple TV

Click Continue
Your TV provider credentials unlock ESPN content.

Select your TV provider from the list

Enter your provider username and password

Once verified, your Apple TV will refresh

ESPN is now activated and ready to stream
